viewpoint appears to be, the MP4 is simpler than the F1, therefore, it is
conservative. If simpler is conservative, and ornate or complex is not, this
makes sense, but that stretches the the meaning of "conservative."The dictionary sense of conservative is that which is conventional,
traditional or cautious. In those terms, I think you would have to agree that
the MP4 is a departure in appearance from most common and typical sports
car, e.g., Corvettes, Porsches, BMWs, Nissan Zs, Vipers, Miatas and RX8.
